This exclusive workshop series, designed for participants of the 50 – 30 Challenge, focuses on enhancing knowledge and fostering hands-on, interactive problem-solving tailored to specific sector needs. In collaboration with the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI), the series aims to empower businesses across specific sectors to not only meet but exceed their diversity and inclusion goals.

Session 1: Navigating Diversity & Inclusion in NGOs

This workshop is designed to deepen participants' understanding of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) challenges specific to NGOs, offering innovative, practical solutions to enhance organizational practices. Through a combination of expert-led discussions, a detailed case study of an NGO that successfully met the 50 – 30 Challenge, and interactive problem-solving sessions, participants will learn to articulate new opportunities and implement actionable steps for effective change. The session aims to equip NGO professionals with the skills and insights needed to drive meaningful and sustainable improvements in diversity and inclusion within their organizations, fostering a more inclusive environment that aligns with the 50 – 30 Challenge's objectives.

 

Session 2: Advancing Diversity and Equity in Tech and Manufacturing - In-Person Workshop

In partnership with the Society for Canadian Women in Science and Technology (SCWIST), UN Global Compact Network Canada proudly presents "Advancing Diversity and Equity in Tech and Manufacturing"—a one-day in-person DEI training workshop in Vancouver. This event, as part of our Sector-Specific Pathways to Inclusion Workshop Series, is designed to help companies in the tech and manufacturing sectors enhance their leadership commitment to diversity, improve workplace culture, and innovate in their recruitment processes. 

Aligned with the goals of the 50 – 30 Challenge, this event will equip participants with practical tools and strategies to address key DEI challenges, build more inclusive environments, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration in your company.
